Policy Regarding Alcohol

At Relaxicon 2019, all attendees must
agree to the terms of this alcohol policy during Registration:

In all public areas, any alcoholic beverages consumed must have been purchased from the onsite bar. This includes ALL convention space, lobbies, hallways, etc.
​
Any alcoholic beverages purchased outside the hotel may only be consumed in private hotel rooms and may not be carried openly around the hotel. You may not bring these beverages into the convention space or public areas - period. Not in coffee cups, or water bottles, or any other clever disguises. Please just don't do it.
You may not host loud parties in hotel rooms.
Anyone issued noise warnings by the hotel MUST take this seriously and adjust the volume or move their gathering immediately.

No alcoholic beverages may be consumed in any public area after 2am.
Special Note: We have worked very hard to preserve the Social Hours and Events important to Relaxicon and all events produced by The Wilmark Dynasty.
To this end, we will (quietly) designate safe areas within the convention space where the socializing may continue from 2am until 4am. We recommend you purchase anything you want to continue drinking by last call, shortly before 2am, after which the bar will close, and move into these safe areas with any remaining drinks.
Please attend the Opening Ceremony to hear the announcement of the safe designated area, or check with an official member of The Wilmark Dynasty's Production Team if there is any confusion where these safe spaces are located.
The convention space will be closed and locked at 4am on both Friday and Saturday nights. We recommend anyone still up at that hour goes to bed.
No one will be permitted to remain in the convention space after this time.

Any deviance from this policy threatens our continued relationship with the hotel,
and our personal liabilities to the hotel to which we have signed legal agreements.
​
Please don't get us in trouble.
​
If you are caught you will be asked to leave the Con immediately
(without refund or reimbursement),
and you may not be allowed to return to future events.
