MYSTERIUM: Mystery of the Haunted Manor
Game Master: Renee Schulz
3-7 Players
1-2 Hours
Players Should Bring: No experience required. Ages 10+.

A person has died under mysterious circumstances. The police are stymied, and the only hope for discovering the truth is with the ghost of the deceased. You are part of the team of psychics invited to talk with the dead…it’s up to you to discover the strange circumstances surrounding the ghost’s death and lay her spirit to rest.
In this asymmetric cooperative game, one player adopts the role of a ghost and the other players are psychics. Unable to speak, the ghost can only communicate by sending visions that the gathered psychics must interpret correctly. Cooperation and inspired guesswork may be necessary to unmask the culprit

Special Note: Please indicate if you would like to be the “Ghost” (clue giver) or a “Psychic” (guesser) when registering.

The year is 1892, putting this in the Gilded Age of the United States. Titan of industry Alexander Black has invited a number of guests to a haunted house party at the Driskill Hotel, a hotel in Texas infamous for being haunted after a number of strange and suspicious deaths since it opened in 1886. Black has offered each of his guests $10,000 to attend the party, where they will be locked inside the hotel until dawn. If for whatever reason they don’t survive their money will go to their next of kin...

TIMEKEEPERS
GMs: Rita Flaherty & Peter Bensch
System: LARP, Mind's Eye Theatre Parlor LARP
6-15 Players
4 hours
Players Should Bring: Some prior knowledge of White Wolf's Changeling the Dreaming will be helpful, but it is not mandatory. All characters will be supplied by the GMs. This is NOT a bring your own character event. This event is not tied to any existing campaigns. It is a stand alone game.
As the cold thaws and darkness retreats, all of the Fae from the Barony of Mushrooms prepare for the transition of courts. Each spring and fall, the pocket watch has been passed with the leadership of the Barony. Now as the Seelie prepare to ascend, there are rumors that something is amiss.
Is the threat the forces of banality creeping from the south, the usual political squabbling, or some dark horror rising from the Dreaming?

The Grief That Does Not Speak
Game Master: Jay Law
System: CAT by John Wick
3-6 Players
4 hours
Players Should Bring: No experience necessary.
A love of cats would probably be helpful.
The old human died today, leaving a dark blister on the house at the end of the road. The other old human– the one who brought food to the cats without human charges– will not come out of the blister. The outdoor dwellers are starving.
The blister pulses, with heat, with ruddy darkness.
In the Dream, you can hear her cries.
Can you save her? Can you save yourselves?
(Yes, in this game, players take the roles of housecats. It works.)

Legacy of Embers
Game Master: Benjamin Little
System: Tabletop RPG - Playtest

3-6 Players
4 hours
Players Should Know: This is a playtest. Feedback will be solicited and candor appreciated.
LEGACY OF EMBERS is intended to be a post apocalyptic space opera style table top RPG of light/moderate complexity.
The game is intended to focus on the following elements:
EXPLORATION – In the remains of the blasted Earth the huddled human holdouts frequently do not know what lies even just beyond the horizon. For these holdouts a handful of adventurous souls are the only connection they have with the greater world around them, and sometimes the only source for crucial supplies and information.
SURVIVAL – The world is dying, and the bones of civilization can only support the scattered remains of humanity for so long. Only by being proactive can the remaining humans scrape out enough to survive for one more day.
CONFLICT – From scavenger bands to rival holdouts to the alien forces that have begun to appear around the world danger is ever present. Not every foe can be fought and not every foe can be reasoned with. Choosing how to react to threats will be crucial for keeping those under your care alive.
DIPLOMACY – Not all who come from the stars are evil. Some of the aliens are happy to make contact and help. Some will view humans as chattel or even vermin. One, wants to kill you and wear your corpse as a suit. Humanity needs friends if they are to survive.
Choose wisely.

I blatantly steal from Ken Rolston
Game Master: Ken Megill
System: Tabletop RPG

How Many Players?
The number of the players shall be 5. No more, preferably not less.
Ok, 1 more if bribed, six max for sure. But plan on five without seriously good bribes.
How long will the game last? 4 hours
Players Should Know: Role playing focused. No experience needed.
Each session will be different. (can play more than once) The interactive character creation system used cheerfully "stolen" from Ken Rolston is at least half the fun.
Very role playing oriented. Mechanics? Mechanics are for the weak!

This is the only session currently scheduled, but other pick-up sessions may occur throughout the weekend, initiated by Ken.

Dread: Supernatural Creation - CANCELLED -
Game Master: John Swann
System: Dread
3-6 Players
2-4 hours
Players Should Know: Adult themes are likely to occur.
A new scenario idea for Dread. In this game you will be playing a clan/tribe/whatever of supernatural creatures. For those familiar there will be an additional questionnaire to answer as a group before the individual character questionnaires. This first one will determine just what your creatures are. You could create something new or something traditional or something in between.
