1) Not every event will allow for minors, based usually on content. Please check the registration and game information *before* signing up to any event.

2) At least one parent or legal guardian must accompany any minor under 18 to the event and be visibly available throughout the event somewhere either in the event space or nearby on the premises of the hotel at all times. The "parent" must be accessible to both the minor and any member of the Production Team at all times. If the "parent" must leave the event space, they must inform a member of the Production Team and provide a cell phone #, hotel room #, or other alternative location information, and also return to the event space as soon as possible.

3) At least one parent or legal guardian must accompany any minor under 14 at all times (within the same room) for all formal and informal events taking place in the event space throughout the entirety of the weekend. In the case of LARPs, one "parent" must be cast closely in association with the minor. Neither the "parent" nor the minor should leave the room/gamespace without the other longer than, for instance, to use the loo. If the "parent" must leave or chooses to leave the game space, the minor must accompany them.

4) Not every adult is keen to play with minors. We ask simply that you keep an eye on your child and any adults they interact with in case of a clash or seeming discomfort.
​
5) Like every other attendee, a certain level of decorum is expected - yelling, running, and other activities which would get us in trouble with the hotel (or the law) are strictly prohibited.
​
6) Exceptions to the parent or legal guardian rule (in the case of extended family or parental partners) can be made if this information is clearly communicated to the Production Team. If it is unclear who these members are for a particular event, you can email this information to thewilmarkdynasty@gmail.com. We will make an effort to verify this with the third party. Please have their consent/permission before notifying us. It is important that it be clear to us who is responsible for all attendees under the age of 18 in accordance with this policy.

Policy Regarding Minors
​
Events produced by The Wilmark Dynasty are, in-general, family friendly productions. We think it's a wonderful hobby which nourishes creativity and welcome first-, second-, and third-generation gamers to join us!
Most of our player base is happy to play with minors, but participation is not in any way to be confused with childcare; neither can you assume other adults or minors will be responsible for your child.

Special Note regarding Amateur Night at the Styx
​
Amateur Night at the Styx is entitled to content which might be rated "R".
This may include, but is not limited to, strong sexual content and/or language.
​
It is up to you the parent or guardian whether to invite your child to participate in performing or acting as an audience member.
​
But in either case, the show will go on. Unfiltered.
