WHAT IS THE MEETING ROOM SPACE LIKE?

 

Well, in comparison to the Red Roof - there's more of it!  1000 more sq ft +!

For the sake of comparison: The Iron Hill Room (850 sq ft), the Garden Room (300 sq ft), the Polly Drummond and Consitution Rooms (approx 800 sq ft ea) = total 2750 sq ft. (plus the Breakfast Room, when we had access to it.)

 

The Brandywine/Devon/West Chester room combines or can be split into any combination of the three rooms.

 

The Wilmington/Longwood room combines with an open or partial wall down the middle.

 

The Frazer Room is separated from the rest, located among the hotel rooms (from which it was originally converted.) We don't have dimensions (yet) but I would say it's the equivalent size of the Garden Room - but squareish instead of long.  It's going to be a fabulous room for us to use for Relaxicon Events.

The Lower (Grand) Ballroom is a ballroom on a lower level accessible mostly by steps (there is a rear entrance for those with mobility problems - please get in touch with Elyssia if you will need access to this).  We will not usually have this space, but due to a mix-up, we've got this space for two-thirds of the weekend (wow!) and plan to take full advantage of it.  It is 4800 sq ft all on its own (again - wow!), but don't get used to it as we may not be contracted for it in future.

The two sets of rooms are joined by a hallway which includes the (public) bar/breakfast area.

 

Additionally, there are some nooks and other sitting areas which can be used for very small board or rpg games, but cannot be walled off from the public.  If you would like to run a game in one of these locations, please bid the game or send an email to thewilmarkdynasty@gmail.com and we'll try to help you do so!
