Introducing Sally Silvers

The party

I (Grace) will be posing as young, hopeful actress and heiress Sally Silvers, with a decadent blonde wig (Hollywood’s finest hair and makeup) and thick southern accent. Otto will be posing as her patron and wealthy businessman, Heinrich Himmel. We received our invitation through a casting agent. The party upstairs was attended only by one other couple (a man, Brad, and his secretary, Bessy), also new attendees to the Trammell mansion.

We partied with gin rickeys and other beverages and made small talk, until we were joined by a third couple. These were glassy-eyed and half-dressed, having already partaken of the “honey” and each other. They offered us some honey, which we cleverly disguised not taking (although the others took no notice, really, too enraptured with their own experiences – the nectar took almost no time to entrance them).

There was little enough to see upstairs, Otto and I taking turns to slip out and investigate the premises. We learned from the intoxicated couple that the real party was downstairs, and eventually made our way in that direction. We spent much time exploring the main floor, but did not find the entrance to the basement until we met up once more with Erik, who led us in that direction.
