MRS JANET WINSTON-ROGERS

DAUGHTER OF MR WINSTON and our patron in this endeavor.  Janet Winston married Horatio Rogers in 1928.  He became deceased in 1933 in an automobile accident. She inherited her first fortune following his death (Mr Rogers’ business was primarily in fruit and foodstuffs from the areas surrounding Honduras – the “banana republic”).  She inherited her second fortune (or, rather, is in the process of) following the death of her father in July, 1934.  Her mother became deceased in 1932, possibly due to complications of a newly-developed overactive drinking habit.
