The Original Investigators

MR WALTER WINSTON
DECEASED (JULY 1934)
PHARMACEUTICAL MAGNATE
OCCULT ENTHUSIAST

Walter was the creator, organiser, and leader of the original group of investigators.  He led a troubled life following "the incident" in 1924, refusing to talk about what had happened or respond to Mr Henslowe's letters.

DOUGLAS HENSLOWE

Alive, and incarcerated at Joy Grove Sanitarium.
(see Persons of Interest - Joy Grove)

VINCENT STACK, “THE FIXER”
DECEASED (1924)

One of Walter Winston’s group.  Vincent liked to drink and was good with both his guns and his fists.  Vincent was the first to “wade in” with a shotgun, killing cultists, the night of the incident.  Killed Echavarria, and was killed in turn by Edgar Job.  Vincent possessed a PI license, registered in New Jersey.

KATHERINE CLARK
DECEASED (1924)

A “Sharp Gal”.  An archivist, who took pictures and notes.  She hated the idea that something like “that cult” could exist.  She got close enough to get the photographs and figured out that something would be happening “that night at that barn”.  According to Douglas Henslowe, she died that night.

F.C. KULLMAN
DECEASED (1924)

Walter’s occult expert, known far and wide for his expertise.  An American, who did much of his own digging.  Mr Kullman was in a wheelchair, but with a real “can-do attitude”.  Mr Kullman also died that night, according to Mr Henslowe – a sitting duck in his wheelchair.

[OOC: Franklin Cormac Kullman, Dr Wolf knows of him]
