Yes! You too can play board games online with nice people!

Here are a few ways we are featuring - but feel free to run your own some other way.
Some of these options do involve spending a little money - but think of all the money you saved on hotel nights, eating out, and even the con fee. Hopefully, there's an option here for everyone.

Once you've agreed on a game, you can use the voice channels we've provided on Discord to have a chat while you play. We're happy to create one just for your group, each time you create a game - just use the # request-a-channel chat to request a voice channel, and we'll get you one in a jiffy.

Whether or not you play board games during RELAXICON 2020 GOES VIRTUAL! we would love to grow this community as an outlet for all of us.

You play online, no downloads necessary. It's free to play and they have lots of games. However, we recommend you support them by going Premium. It costs $5/month or $24 for the year, and means you're guaranteed to get logged in to play. Because of covid, the site is experiencing an overload of players, so sometimes they are just too full. You will want to do this before RCon begins, so you're all ready to go when the games kick off.

Steam sells lots of board games which you can play online with other people, such as Ticket to Ride, Mysterium, Carcassone. All players will need their own copy of the game to play. Once you're friends with someone on Steam, however, you can see what games you already own in common.

Some games require you to have an account with Asmodee online to play together. Which leads us into our next option:

Many of Asmodee's great board games have been re-created as Apps for phones, tablets, and computers.
You'll need an account and the app to play. These are relatively cheap and download quickly, and could be a great option for you to play during the weekend. We recommend Splendor!

You are followers of the King of Dunne, Israel and Mordor, Marvin the 1st. Yes, in the First installment Marvin was the Duke of Dunne. His is now King with a Queen from each Kingdom. It is good to be the King. The bloody wars are over and the King rules all for the good of everyone and in peace.
However, since you were last called to duty things have changed again. The First Queen (Good Queen Anna) and the middle Prince (Prince Ralph age 7) have been murdered. The chief Judgice Father Thaddeus has lead several parties to hunt down the villainous Pauline of the Plains. As part of this mission (which failed) It was discovered that across the great sea to the east there are Kingdoms. Prince Marvin II has been sent to make treaties with the good Kingdom of Helm. But Helm has commented that there are other Dangerous Kingdoms further to the East.
Queen Wilhelmina of the Gold who is the Third wife of Marvin has convinced the King to help protect the Kingdom by finding out who is out there. Now it is time for the adventurer’s to be called by the King. As his loyal followers what other choice is there? You must go if he asks.
The King’s spymaster Baron Thomas have summoned you all to keep the King’s promise. You will take ship across the great lake aboard Queen Maria’s Lake ship the “Edmond Fitzgerald”. Then you will travel on the great road to the Capital of Mordor Davisville. From there you will take a warship from the King’s new Navy to cross the ocean and find these Kingdoms to the east. What will you meet? What Monsters will you encounter? What about the peoples of the East, do they pose a threat to the three Kingdoms? What about the murder of the Queen, the King has offered a 100,000 GP for this Pauline of the plains dead or alive. Is she hiding in the east somewhere?
Baron Thomas warned you to keep your eyes and ears open, there could be treason afoot.
