• In Love Letter you will be writing and reading during the course of the game. Please talk to us if you have any concerns about this process.  Additionally, the characters are all considered to be literate and educated, proficient in reading and writing. 

• The characters are generically aged roughly 25-45, without in most cases any specific details; in some cases there are "older" or "younger" relationships between siblings or other family members, or other minimal indications of age.  But in general, our intention in leaving it vague is that all characters are mature adults and all suitable romantically for one another without any bias about "age gaps". We hope you will take this into account with your casting requests as well as how you approach and play the game.  

• There may be some genre-related sexism in the game, but we have tried to keep it to a minimum. 
  To that end, unlike previous Love Letter games where genre dicated a clear separation of men and women in times of war, there will be more of a mix of who goes off to the mines and who remains behind.
